Good, but not sure how they’re cooking this in 7 minutes. I used Asian eggplants, and it still took almost 20 minutes to get them nice and soft while steaming in the pan. Not sure what I could have done to speed it up.

This was delicious! I substituted the chicken for small texturized soya previously rehydrated and it worked wonderfully. Even considering the fact that I forgot adding the doubanjiang at the beginning (I added it once I had added the stock). Thanks so so much!

This was absolutely outstanding. I had leftover eggplant from the Asian market that I used for Sunday’s recipe ( Chinese Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (红烧茄子) – also the bomb). So flavourful, everyone thought it was a perfect (and quick) work-at-home lunch. From other recipes on here, I had everything in stock.
